General's Jian Zhan Tea Bowl (Jiang Jun Zhan)

Named in honor of the great commanders of old, the General's Jian Zhan (Jiang Jun Zhan) is the most substantial and commanding form in the Jian ware family. Unlike lighter tasting cups, this bowl features extra-thick iron-body walls and a deep, capacious belly that tapers slightly at the rim—a design that excels at heat retention and aroma concentration.
